Serving those who serve
Tychicus Ministries, Inc. is a member care agency, serving sending agencies globally. We primarily focus on quality Biblical programming for the MK. This allows the parents to learn, collaborate and recharge, knowing their children are in capable, loving hands, and growing in God's Word with their peers.
We are comprised of a board, management team, selection team, financial committee, CEO, a team of pastors, youth pastors, children's pastors, worship leaders, and lay people who have gone through our vetting and selection process. All of our team members raise the funds to serve those who serve. Our CEO, board and administrators do not take a salary. Our desire is simply to serve those who serve, just as the Church has done from the start.
Our teams to date have served in Asia, Africa, Americas and Europe. We serve area, regional and global conferences for sending agencies. We also provide all of the materials needed for our teaching times with the missionary kids as well as any additional requests made by the conference coordinators. Our ministry has spread by word of mouth from sending agency to sending agency, missionary to missionary.
Our Story
Tychicus Ministries, Inc. started in 2010. The idea was to serve our missionaries in a tangible way. Our first exploratory trip was taken in December of 2009 visiting former colleagues and then missionaries in Haiti. After the trip, the missionary family we visited sent word to their sending agency and we started receiving requests from all over the world to help with sending agency's conferences. We accomplish this by providing quality Biblical programming for the missionary kids and ancillary support for the main conference teaching. Since our inception we have been serving the missionaries with an intentionality to keep the whole family healthy on the field for maximum effectiveness and longevity.
